The company's emissions profile is substantial relative to its automotive sector peers, particularly as the global industry accelerates its transition to electric vehicles.

While SAIC Motor publishes annual ESG reports detailing climate governance structures and emissions reduction targets, its operational reality remains heavily tied to fossil fuels.
