This page is part of our public exclusion list — a transparency tool that shows which companies we screen out and why. It is not investment advice, and it is not an accusation. But it is subject to change as our understanding of the facts evolves.

Builds large-scale settlement infrastructure in the occupied West Bank and Golan Heights, including residential buildings for settlement councils and systems for Highway 60. Subsidiary Electra-Afikim operates bus lines servicing at least 14 illegal Israeli settlements. Constructs wastewater systems carrying sewage from the occupied West Bank to a purification plant in the occupied Jordan Valley.

Electra Ltd is an Israeli construction and infrastructure company whose core business includes building and maintaining residential and industrial projects within illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and Golan Heights. The company was included in the United Nations database of business enterprises involved in settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territory, published in 2020 and updated through 2025.

The UN Human Rights Council database specifically lists companies involved in activities that raise particular human rights concerns in the occupied territories. Electra's inclusion signifies its material role in developing settlement infrastructure, which facilitates the expansion of communities considered illegal under international law. This activity directly supports the ongoing occupation and its associated structural violations.

Companies appear on our exclusion list based on our investment judgment — not because they've done anything illegal. This is a difference of values and opinion, not an accusation of wrongdoing. Exclusion does not constitute a recommendation against investing in any company, and absence from the list does not constitute a recommendation to invest.

This information is provided for educational and transparency purposes only and should not be relied upon as investment advice. Data is drawn from independent watchdogs, NGOs, government registries, and Ethical Capital's ongoing research — see Research Sources for the full list.
