Corporate Misconduct (1)
QFIN Financials Current as of April 2026

This page is part of our public exclusion list — a transparency tool that shows which companies we screen out and why. It is not investment advice, and it is not an accusation. But it is subject to change as our understanding of the facts evolves.

Financial Misconduct
Since Jun 7, 2024

Qifu Technology operates an online consumer finance platform connecting borrowers with funding partners. The company and its senior executives have been subject to securities fraud allegations. According to a lawsuit filed in July 2021, the company misled investors and/or failed to disclose adverse facts about its business operations and financial prospects. Separately, a detailed September 2024 report alleges the company is a “China Hustle Stock” with fraudulent financials and an imploding business model, while a January 2026 analysis suggests a track record of stock-price manipulation and informed insider trading among similar Chinese-based financial platforms. The company also acknowledges the risk of delisting under the Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act if U.S. regulators cannot inspect its audit work papers.

Companies appear on our exclusion list based on our investment judgment — not because they've done anything illegal. This is a difference of values and opinion, not an accusation of wrongdoing. Exclusion does not constitute a recommendation against investing in any company, and absence from the list does not constitute a recommendation to invest.
