RTX Industrials Current as of March 2026

This page is part of our public exclusion list — a transparency tool that shows which companies we screen out and why. It is not investment advice, and it is not an accusation. But it is subject to change as our understanding of the facts evolves.

Conflict & War Zones
Since Sep 21, 2025

RTX Corporation, through its Raytheon business unit, is a major supplier of defense and security equipment to Israel. In September 2025, Raytheon was listed among 1,600 defense suppliers participating in the DSEI arms fair in London, an event that drew protests over the supply of weapons for the Gaza conflict. Raytheon's products, including missile defense systems and precision-guided munitions, are used by the Israeli military in active conflict zones.

The company's direct supply of weaponry to a military engaged in active, large-scale hostilities constitutes material support to activities in an active conflict zone. There is no affirmative evidence that RTX's operations in this context provide an essential civilian service that would materially benefit the civilian population absent the company's involvement.

RTX Corporation is listed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) as one of 112 companies involved in activities that support the maintenance and existence of illegal Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian and Syrian territories. The UN database, published in February 2020, identifies companies providing services and utilities to settlements in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Syrian Golan. RTX's inclusion on this list indicates its operations materially support activities in these occupied territories in violation of international law.

Military Contracting
Since Jun 30, 2020

RTX Corporation, operating through its Raytheon division, is a major defense contractor specializing in purpose-built weapons systems and military technology. The company designs and manufactures advanced missile systems, including the Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) used in ballistic missile defense. In February 2026, RTX reached a framework deal with the Pentagon to significantly increase missile manufacturing capacity, with plans to triple production of the SM-3IB missile program. This followed a $2.01 billion contract modification awarded to Raytheon by the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center for advanced satellite communications terminals, raising the total contract value to approximately $2.97 billion. These contracts are managed directly by defense agencies for explicit military applications.

Companies appear on our exclusion list based on our investment judgment — not because they've done anything illegal. This is a difference of values and opinion, not an accusation of wrongdoing. Exclusion does not constitute a recommendation against investing in any company, and absence from the list does not constitute a recommendation to invest.
